@Zach: I did intend to write “consume information consciously.” In other words, don’t try to consume every single piece of information out there. Consume often, but be conscious of what you consume. Focus on relevant content. If you’re trying to start an online business, but you’re reading articles about gardening, you aren’t consuming information consciously.

Question: For the 3rd point do you mean “Consume information consciously” or “Consume information constantly”?

If it’s the former, as it is in the post, I’m a tad confused as to what you’re trying to say.

Thanks for the added insight, ladies and gents. Ironically, this article did not get quite as much attention and traffic as I had expected it to.

It’s still a mystery to me how some articles I think are ‘just okay’ do amazing and some that I think are ‘amazing’ do ‘just okay.’ But hey, that’s what makes blogging interesting.

But wither way, I’m glad many of you found it useful. I hope it helps spark some lucrative ideas.

1, 2 and 19 really resonates with me!

I use to come up with a lot of ideas, but I let myself and others shoot them down (this really made me angry when later what I thought of would come out on the market years made by someone else).

Item 2 has been my downfall, I was afraid to fail, so I didn’t pursue my ideas. I’m trying now though…
