I camped on Lumahai Beach for 6 months with my beautiful girlfriend Helen Stark and a couple of other friends. It was truly magical…snorkeling, surfing and looking for the ever elusive “Sunrise Shells” that washed up if you were lucky. Perhaps even a glass float. All my other friends were in college at the time preparing for ‘the future’. Now I’m just a jaded middle aged guy with an average life, but I wouldn’t trade those wonderful 6 months for anything. Oh to be 18 again! Get it while you can!
